Youth Directors - Looking for meeting activity ideas? COF offers three different contest opportunities with winners receiving cash awards and their entries gaining national recognition in Catholic Forester magazine. Photo Contest - Pets
If your budget allows, purchase and distribute disposable cameras. Have them photograph a favroite pet, theirs or someone else's. Request they develop film and bring best shot to next court meeting. Be sure completed entry tags are attached to each photo before submitting to High Court. Poster Contest - My Favorite Season
Christmas Card Contest
Provide all the materials needed to create an entry in one or both contests. To avoid disqualification, please follow size requirements. - Posters - 8½ x 11-inch only
- Christmas cards - 5 x 7-inch only

The High Court is accepting Haitian Relief Fund donations through March 31, 2010. The money will support Catholic Relief Services (CRS) ongoing aid efforts in Haiti. - High Court matches donations dollar-for-dollar up to a cumulative $25,000
- Courts may sponsor a regular or emergency Matching Funds. Money raised matched by either Haiti Relief Fund or Matching Funds, not both
- All CRS donations marked for Haitian relief efforts only
- Donations do not qualify for Local Court Expense Reimbursement
When making a donation, courts must comply with 25 percent guidelines as stated in COF's Constitution and Bylaws, Section 133. The Membership Status Report, commonly referred to as the "Ons and Offs List," will soon resume distribution. The report will enable officers to once again track new members and those no longer in the court, including deceased Foresters. Transitioning to LifePRO from the AS400, which previously provided "Ons and Offs," necessitated programming a report compatible with the new administrative software. |
